1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and standards for using services provided by NAMEHUB (Dmytro Pashniev). Its purpose is to ensure a safe, lawful and professional environment for the registration, renewal and transfer of .UK domains, in compliance with Nominet's rules and industry best practice. By registering a domain name through us, you agree to follow this AUP. Any violation may result in suspension or termination of services.
2. Prohibited content and activities
The following are strictly prohibited when using our services:
- Any illegal activity under the laws of England and Wales or applicable international laws.
- Pornographic, sexually explicit or obscene content, including any material involving minors.
- Copyright infringement or the distribution of pirated software, films or other protected intellectual property.
- Hate speech, harassment or defamatory content that targets individuals or groups.
- Any activity that encourages or enables criminal behaviour, such as hacking, phishing, fraud or identity theft.
If prohibited content or activity is detected, we may suspend the domain or related services immediately. In serious cases, the issue may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
3. Email and spam policy
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) using our services is strictly forbidden.
- Using domains registered through us for email spam or abusive mailing lists is prohibited.
- Violations may result in immediate suspension of the domain name or related services.
- Repeat offences will lead to permanent termination of services without refund.
4. Abuse complaints
4.1 Abuse complaints should be sent to legal@namehub.uk.
4.2 All complaints are acknowledged within 5 business days and investigated within 10 business days.
4.3 If the issue remains unresolved, customers are informed of their right to escalate the complaint to Nominet.
5. Illegal activities
Examples of illegal activities that will result in immediate suspension or cancellation include, but are not limited to:
- Hacking or attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or networks.
- Credit card fraud, theft or identity theft.
- Phishing or distributing malicious software (malware, viruses, etc.).
- Violence, threats, harassment or similar harmful actions.
No refunds will be issued for services terminated due to illegal activities.
6. Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at our sole discretion if a customer's actions:
- Violate this Acceptable Use Policy.
- Violate Nominet's Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration.
- Pose a risk to other customers, our systems or our reputation.
7. Compliance with Nominet policies
All customers must comply with Nominet's rules and policies, including their Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration. Failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of the domain name without refund.
