1. Introduction and Nominet reference
1.1 All .UK domain registrations are subject to Nominet's Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration. By registering a domain through NAMEHUB, you agree to comply with both Nominet's rules and our Terms and Conditions set out here.
2. Domain registration
2.1 We make no representation that the domain name you wish to register is capable of being registered by or for you, or that it will be registered in your name. You should not assume registration of your requested domain name(s) until you have been notified that it has, or they have, been registered. Any action taken by you before such notification is at your risk.
2.2 The registration and use of your domain name is subject to the terms and conditions of use applied by the relevant naming authority; you shall ensure that you are aware of, and comply with, those terms and conditions. You shall have no right to bring any claim against us in respect of refusal to register a domain name. Any administration charge paid by you to us shall be non-refundable notwithstanding refusal by the naming authority to register your desired name.
2.3 We shall have no liability in respect of your use of any domain name; any dispute between you and any other person must be resolved between the parties concerned. If any such dispute arises, we shall be entitled, at our discretion and without giving any reason, to withhold, suspend or cancel the domain name. We may make representations to the relevant naming authority but are not obliged to take part in any such dispute.
2.4 We shall not release any domain to another provider unless full payment for that domain has been received by us.
3. Payment
3.1 Our charges are: domain registration £2.00 + VAT for the first year, and renewal £10.00 + VAT per year, across the .uk, .co.uk, .org.uk and .me.uk namespaces. All charges are in accordance with the scale of charges published from time to time by us on our website, and shall be due and payable in advance of our provision of the Services. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, although all pricing is guaranteed for the period of pre-payment.
3.2 Payment is due each anniversary month, quarter or year following the date the Services were established, until closure notice is given. If you choose to pay by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your renewal fees from your card.
3.3 All payments must be in GBP (£).
3.4 Without prejudice to our other rights and remedies under this Agreement, if any sum payable is not paid on or before the due date, we shall be entitled forthwith to suspend the provision of Services to you.
4. Termination
4.1 If you fail to pay any sums due to us as they fall due, we may suspend the Services and/or terminate this Agreement forthwith without notice to you.
4.2 If you break any of these terms and conditions, we may suspend the Services and/or terminate this Agreement forthwith without notice to you.
4.3 We reserve the right to suspend the Services and/or terminate this Agreement at any time. In such event, you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund based on the remaining pre-paid period.
4.4 You may cancel the Services at any time by contacting us directly. We do not charge any cancellation fee, service charge or exit fee. Where a registry or registrar applies an admin fee for changes to the domain (e.g. change of owner), we will pass this on to you.
4.5 Outbound transfers to another registrar are processed free of charge and completed within 1 business day after we receive a valid request from the domain holder.
4.6 Where payment has been made by credit or debit card, any refund will only be issued to the same card.
5. Indemnity
5.1 You shall indemnify us and keep us indemnified and hold us harmless from and against any breach by you of these terms and any claim brought against us by a third party resulting from our provision of the Services to you and your use of the Services, including, without limitation, all claims, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) howsoever suffered or incurred by us as a consequence of your breach or non-observance of this Agreement.
6. Limitation of liability
6.1 All conditions, terms, representations and warranties relating to the Services that are not expressly stated in these terms — including, without limitation, the implied warranty of satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose — are hereby excluded, subject always to the sub-clauses below.
6.2 Nothing in these terms shall exclude our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
6.3 Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the provision of the Services shall be limited to the charges paid by you in respect of the Services which are the subject of such claim.
6.4 No claim shall be brought unless you have notified us of the claim within one year of it arising.
6.5 In no event shall we be liable to you for any loss of business, contracts, profits or anticipated savings, or for any other indirect, consequential or economic loss whatsoever.
7. Notices
7.1 Any notice to be given by either party to the other may be sent by email or recorded delivery to the address of the other party appearing in this Agreement or ancillary forms, or such other address as that party may have communicated in writing. If sent by email it shall, unless the contrary is proved, be deemed received on the day it was sent; if sent by recorded delivery it shall be deemed served two days following the date of posting.
8. Law
8.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Headings
9.1 Headings are included for convenience only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of this Agreement.
10. Renewals and expiry policy
10.1 We send renewal reminders 30, 14 and 7 days before a domain's expiry date.
10.2 If a domain is not renewed, it follows the standard Nominet suspension and deletion process.
10.3 We do not automatically renew domains without the customer's explicit consent.
10.4 During the grace period set by Nominet, customers can still request renewal in line with Nominet rules.
11. Abuse handling
11.1 Abuse complaints can be submitted to legal@namehub.uk.
11.2 All complaints are acknowledged within 5 business days and investigated within 10 business days.
11.3 If the issue remains unresolved, customers are informed of their right to escalate the complaint to Nominet.
12. Complaints and appeals
12.1 If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service you have received from us, you can make a complaint by emailing info@namehub.uk with the details.
12.2 We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to provide a full response within 10 business days.
12.3 If you remain dissatisfied after our response, you may escalate the matter to Nominet, the .uk registry, in accordance with their dispute and complaints procedures.
13. Conduct
Customers must communicate with us respectfully and professionally. Abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards us or our systems will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without refund in cases of abusive conduct.
14. Cancellation of services
14.1 You may cancel the Services at any time by contacting us directly. We do not charge any cancellation fee or exit fee.

15. Entire agreement
15.1 These terms, together with any documents expressly referred to in them, contain the entire agreement between us relating to the subject matter covered and supersede any previous agreements, arrangements, undertakings or proposals, written or oral. No oral explanation or information given by any party shall alter the interpretation of these terms. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that you have not relied on any representation other than those expressly stated herein.
15.2 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.
